My name is Karen Runthal, I'm a 3rd year fashion design student at Gray's School of Art, Scotland.  

 

This website is created to show my previous work as a designer. I would also like to share with you some of the pages from my sketchbook and a few drawings. I hope this online portfolio manages to show my skills as a garment manufacturer, fashion and textiles designer, photographer, graphic designer and artist generally.

 

I have been a freelance fashion designer since year 2006. In 2010 I received my BA degree in Estonian and Finno-Ugric Languages, specializing in Computer Linguistics. In 2011 I started my fashion design studies at Gray's School of Art and did a placement with a company called Mari Design on the following summer. In 2013 I received a Weavers Enhancement Award in design and a Kilgour medal.
